Balla sinks third ace

Allen Balla of Sequim sank his third lifetime hole-in-one in late October at The Cedars at Dungeness.

Balla aced the 155-yard hole No 17 at The Cedars.

Ray Ballantyne and Jerry McLinn, both of Sequim, witnessed the feat.

Sunland sets free day

Sunland Golf and Country Club hosts a free golf day to the community on Saturday, Nov. 16. All golfers who play at Sunland that day will receive a complementary green fee; regular cart fees apply and golf carts are limited.

Tee times start at 9 a.m. with 10-minute intervals (frost delays are possible).
