‘Go Big’ golf tourney set

The Cedars at Dungeness’ fifth-annual fall Go Big Golf Tournament is set for a 10 a.m. shotgun start on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the course, 1965 Woodcock Road.

The one-person scramble includes all 18-holes with 8-inch cups.

Cost is $50 for non-members/employees and includes green fees, competition and range balls. Divisions are Calloway, gross and net.

Coed volleyball league starts in mid-October

The Port Angeles Parks &Recreation Department hosts a coed adult volleyball league, with games starting the week of Oct. 16.

The league is open to men and women 18 years and older; games are at Stevens Middle School. Cost is $450 per team.

Players without a team can sign up and will be put on a “free agent” list.
