Cedars at Dungeness staff reports two golfers recently recorded holes-in-one.
During the Men’s Club competition on Feb. 19, Jerry McLinn, a club member, made a hole-in-one at the eighth hole playing the Copper tees set at 128 yards away from the hole with his seven iron and a Titleist DT Solo golf ball. It was witnessed by Bill Blacketer and Mike Buckland. It was his sixth hole-in-one, and third at The Cedars at Dungeness.
On Feb. 22, Andy Borchers made a hole-in-one on hole No. four playing the Copper tees from 128 yards away with his nine iron and a Taylormade TP5X Golf Ball. This was his second hole-in-one, and it was witnessed by Kevin Grau, Ted Perkins, and Mimi Shin.
