Wolf of the Week: Riley Pyeatt

Reason for selection: “Riley recently set a new all-time school record in the 800 meters in 2:14.29 (eclipsing her own record of 2:15.16) which currently leads the 2A state by over four seconds. She won the 400 meters in a season best time 59.30 — second fastest in the 2A state ranks — at the Olympic League championship meet, she also won the 1,600 in a personal record time of 5:13.34. She also anchors the 4×400 relay that currently has the second fastest 2A time. She will compete in the 400, 800, 1600 and 4×400 relay at the District 2/3 meet as the favorite in all of her individual events.”
