Sequim had several wrestlers place at the Keigen Langholff Memorial wrestling tournament at Central Kitsap High School on Jan. 25.
The Wolves’ Jaymes Vilona at 144 pounds had the top showing, making it to the championship match and finishing second. He went 3-1 on the day with two technical falls and a major decision.
James Mason finished third at 157 pounds, going 5-1 on the day. He ended up beating Wyatt Weatherman of Cashmere in the third-place match with an 11-6 decision. Weatherman had beaten Mason earlier in the day in the quarterfinals with a 17-1 technical fall
Ryan Spelker was fourth at 126 pounds, going 3-2, while Johnny Vilona was fourth at 132 pounds, going 2-2.
Results from a Jan. 29 match-up in North Kitsap with the Vikings and North Mason were not available by press time.
Coming up, the Olympic League championships are set for Saturday, Feb. 8 in Bremerton.
