JACE owner completes advanced course

Eileen Schmitz, owner of JACE Real Estate in Sequim and Port Angeles, recently earned the certificate for completing the two-day Business of Your Business course offered by the Women’s Council of Realtors. The course is part of the Realtor Performance Management Network providing training in formulas, financials, and the efficient function of a real estate business and was taught at the National Association of Realtors annual conference.

NPBA plans Expo

The North Peninsula Building Association is hosting the 20th Anniversary Building Remodeling &Energy Expo from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Sequim High School, 601 N. Sequim Ave. The event is free.

Cousins joins Holiday Inn

Namaste Cousins has been hired as the assistant general manager and director of sales at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Sequim. She was hired at the Red Lion in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a front desk agent and very quickly moved up ranks holding positions as front desk supervisor, front office manager, sales manager, rooms manager and then to director of front office operations. In 2016, she found herself missing the Pacific Northwest and decided to move back to the Olympic Peninsula.
