Spotlight on ‘Feather Plate’

“Feather Plate” by Linda Collins Chapman is featured in the 2017 Artist Trust Benefit Art Auction, set for Feb. 25 at Fisher Pavilion in the Seattle Center. Artist Trust supports Washington artists of various creative disciplines through financial grants, career training and other professional resources. Chapman’s support of Artist Trust started in 2015 by serving as a GAP Award Panelist; GAP Awards are one of Artist Trusts’ flagship awards since 1987, supporting both emerging and established artists. Chapman’s involvement continued last year by donating her carved porcelain piece, “Spinner,” to the 2016 Gala Art Auction. “Feather Plate” has been selected to be included this years’ gala event.
