A two-car collision on Old Olympic Highway Friday morning left one person dead at the scene and another headed to the hospital.
The collision happened a little before 10 a.m. between Livengood Lane and Towne Road.
Identities of the drivers, both of whom were driving SUVs, were unavailable.
The cause of the crash was also not confirmed; however, witnesses on scene said they saw the driver of one vehicle driving erratically moments before the collision.
Claire Koenigsaecker was driving behind that driver. She said she saw the vehicle pull to the side of the road, swerve and drive past a stop sign without stopping, so she pulled over to call 911. She said she did not see the collision.
Washington State Patrol was on scene.
