All Buttoned Up

Helen Haller and Greywolf fifth-graders turned out in force, sales force, for the 2013 Irrigation Festival Button Contest, selling bags and bags of the buttons to promote the festival and win prizes sponsored by RE/MAX Fifth Ave. owner/broker Liz Parks.

This year’s button was designed by Helen Haller fifth-grader Naishla Miranda.

Top button-sellers from Greywolf were Ryan Heritage, first place; Brandon Harwick, second; and Nadia Rayon, third. From Helen Haller the first-place winner was Patrick Tennison, with Elizabeth Sutton second and Brandon Ferris third.

The Irrigation Festival Royalty and Irrigation Festival products director Shawnna Rigg presented the prizes, including iPod Shuffles, digital cameras and Irrigation Festival Carnival wristbands.

Eric Danielson’s fifth-grade class at Helen Haller won a pizza party for selling the most as a group — 25 bags.
