Clallam County: Crescent Water Association health advisory ends
Published 9:58 am Thursday, March 20, 2014
Crescent Water Association customers no longer need to boil their tap water. Lab tests received on June 22 show it meets safe drinking water standards.
A boil-water advisory was issued Tuesday after a water main broke, causing parts of the system to lose pressure. When water pressure is lost, it is possible for potentially harmful contaminants to enter the lines. The water main has been repaired.
Crescent Water Association serves the community of Joyce near Lake Crescent, 22 miles west of Port Angeles.
Crescent customers who have questions about their water can call 360-928-3128.
