Children ages 7-12 have the opportunity to learn about a “mystery” liquid on Saturday, May 4, when the Peninsula College Chemistry Club presents a “hands-on” activity, Saturday Science, at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
The free event runs from 2-3 p.m.
The college’s Chemistry Club is a local chapter of the American Chemical Society and seeks to educate and promote awareness of the field of chemistry. The local chapter at Peninsula College was established in 2012 and is a student-run club advised by Professor Ben Weintraub.
Previous events have included a field trip to the chemistry laboratories at Boeing in Seattle.
