Filmmaking workshop offered free to students

Sequim Education Foundation sponsors a free filmmaking workshop for Sequim School District students in grades 6-12 from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Sequim Middle School Library and from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Sequim High School Media Room (A-4).

Workshop sessions include personalized help and reviews; hands-on filming; pointers for creating a great film; computer video editing; creating a story; effective sound; free pizza and a free Film Festival T-shirt.

SEF’s eighth annual Film Festival Competition this spring will award cash prizes and up to $1,000 in scholarships.
