Hospice welcomes new staff

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County has added three new members to its team, according to Bruce Busch, hospice president.
Marilyn Nelsen, Ph.D, has accepted the position of volunteer services manager. She is a marriage and family therapist currently active with the grief/bereavement group as a counselor and intake screener.
Mary Klock, RN, is a new per diem nurse. Experienced in geriatric and long-term-care nursing, she was wellness director at Park View Villas Assisted Living for the past four years and also was director of nursing at Olympic Care and Rehab Center in Sequim.
Sherrie Carlson, RN, is the new full-time nurse. She was a clinic nurse manager for village sites in Alaska and has worked in Port Angeles at community clinics, Olympic Medical Physicians (as administrative nurse manager) and at the hospital.
