Sheriff’s Office warns of asphalt paving scam

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents and businesses to be on the lookout for anyone who approaches them with unsolicited repair work. During the summer, professional con artists posing as construction workers often approach people with special bargains on repair work they do not need, coercing unsuspecting residents and business owners into cooperating with their scam.
