YMCA celebrates 65th year

The Olympic Peninsula YMCA celebrates its 65th anniversary with an open house from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Clallam County branch, 302 S. Francis St., Port Angeles. The event is open to the public and features historical displays and food catered by Oven Spoonful.

A short program from 4:45-5:15 p.m. recognizes 13 “Y History Makers,” people who have had a major impact on the YMCA since its incorporation in 1948.
