Milestone: Tamba young and accomplished

Shortly after graduating from Port Angeles High School last September, being named the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula’s 2015 Youth of the Year and taking first in the cabinet-making category in the state SkillsUSA competition, Cole Tamba, 18, has achieved his most recent accomplishment.

Tamba enlisted in the Army as soon as he was eligible and recently returned home from South Carolina where he completed his basic training at Fort Jackson, earning the title of Private second class.

Continuing his education with the Army, Tamba is now attending machinist school.
