Lessons in Magic

As part of the North Olympic Library System’s annual Summer Reading Program, magician Jeff Evans will be performing at three North Olympic Library System locations on Tuesday, June 27. Evans appears first at the Sequim Library (630 N. Sequim Ave.) at 10:30 a.m., followed by appearances at the Port Angeles Library (1 p.m.) and Forks Library (4 p.m.). Evans explains how science, technology, reading, engineering, art and math make possible such adventure activities as rock climbing and skydiving. A blend of live demonstrations and helmet-cam video lets his audience scuba dive with sharks and climb a frozen waterfall.
