Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County recently added three staffers.

Karen Kremkau is Habitat’s Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. She has worked in social services for 25 years, both in private agencies and several volunteer organizations in several states.

“My passion for making a positive footprint in our communities, is as strong today as it ever was,” Kremkau said. “My vision is to continue to participate right here at a local level to improve outcomes for families.”

Julie Eckert was hired as the organization’s Family Services Coordinator. A west coast native and mother of three who recently relocated to Port Angeles, she has experience working with families in the nonprofit community as a family services coordinator, a family play group facilitator and co-founder of a parent-participation preschool.

“I share Habitat for Humanity’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live,” Eckert said.

Donna Park is Habitat’s AmeriCorps Construction representative. She relocated to Sequim in July.

“It is an honor and a privilege to work with Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County where I can use my managerial skills and my heart to serve others in our community,” Park said.
