Milestone: Rotary club boosts Mujeres De Maiz

At left, Mary Jane Apple, International Committee Director of Sequim Sunrise Rotary, presents a check of $691 to Judith Pasco, Executive Director of Mujeres de Maiz, Spanish for “Women of the Corn.”

Proceeds were raised through “Good News Giving” by members and guests of Sequim Sunrise Rotary, and will be used to help fund educational workshops for the benefit of women in Chiapas, Mexico.
