Buck Ellard Band plays the grange
The community is invited to enjoy a dinner while listening and dancing to the tunes of the Buck Ellard Band from 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road. Cost is $10 per person.
Concert, cuisine on tap
Join the Port Angeles Symphony for Concert & Cuisine, an evening of delicious live music and French cooking á la Michele Juhasz on Saturday, Sept. 15, at C’est si Bon Restaurant, 23 Cedar Park Drive, Port Angeles.
The evening’s main course will be a mini-recital featuring recent winners of the Nico Snel Young Artist Competition: violist Lauren Waldron, pianist Emma Weller and violinist Adam Weller.
Patrons will also have the opportunity to sponsor guest artists for the coming 2018-2019 Symphony season.
Tickets are $75 per person for this popular fundraiser. Doors open at 6 p.m.; the concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

Meditate, relax to singing bowls
Sophia Engkvist hosts two sessions of Sonic Light Activation, a time to come together to relax and meditate to crystal singing bowls. All are welcome to the sessions, set for 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, and Thursday, Sept. 27, at Blue Mountain Yoga+, 803 Carlsborg Road, Suite D.
Cost is by donation. Attendees are encouraged to bring mats, cushions, blankets for comfort; there will be extras. Seating will also be available.

Aerosmith tribute band returns to peninsula
Michael Rocheleau of Port Angeles, along with his classic 1970s Aerosmith tribute band Sweet Emotion, made their Northwest debut at 7 Cedars Casino in December of 2017. They are back for more with a concert set for 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at 7 Cedars Casino’s Club Seven, 270756 US Highway 101, Blyn.
Doors open at 9 p.m.
There is no admission for the 21-and-older event.
Since their debut last year, the band has been packing casinos and clubs around the Northwest. Members of Sweet Emotion have also performed professionally for the past 30 years in the Northwest Music scene, and have been featured in The Seattle Times, The Stranger and have been featured and played on 99.9 KISW.
