Sequim student Alix Romasanta’s vocal performance of “Jealous” by Labrinth earned her a Peninsula’s Got Talent first place award Friday night at Peninsula College — and with it a $500 talent scholarship and a performance at the 2019 Juan de Fuca Festival. Daisy Spiridakis-Lopez of Port Angeles took second place and Sequim’s Zoe Yates third. Cindy Vasquez and Sterling Penniston-John were show hosts, while judges included PC president Luke Robins and ASC vice presidents David Harvey and Casandra Smith. In all, 11 college students showcased musical numbers ranging from rap to originals to a theatrical sign language performance.
