The Woodcock Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road, welcomes fall with floral displays and fruit to harvest. At 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, during the September Woodcock Walkabout, Master Gardener Valarie Bowers acts as tour guide as she walks visitors through our the garden and answers questions about ripening apples, figs, miniature kiwi and the flowers in fall glory.

The public is invited to take a guided tour on the first Thursday of each month through October with a veteran Master Gardener, a free service. Gardeners tend the gardens on Thursday mornings and will be available to answer questions on their respective areas.

The Woodcock Demonstration Garden has garden displays demonstrating sustainable gardening techniques that cover a broad range of ornamentals, edible and native plants as well as composting and garden design. It is open to the public daily. Note: There are detours around the Dungeness bridge at Woodcock Road; follow signs posted on Old Olympic Highway.
