Milestone: Sequim Elks pay tribute to veterans

Sequim Elks Lodge 2642 members held their annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 9. Dinner was free to all veterans and others were asked for a donation only. The lodge served more than 125 attendees. Lt. Col. Tom Coonelly (pictured), a 29-year veteran of the U.S. Army Engineer Corps, was the guest speaker, and Boys and Girls Scout Troop 1498, led by Corey and Jessica Hulen, presented a color guard.
