For the 13th time in 14 years, Olympic Medical Home Health received HomeCare Elite recognition.

HomeCare Elite, a recognition of top-performing home health agencies in the United States, named Olympic Medical Home Health as a Top Agency this year.

The ranking is developed by ABILITY Network, an information technology company helping providers and payers simplify the administrative and clinical complexities of healthcare.

Joan Warren, director of Olympic Medical Home Health, credits the hard work and dedication of Home Health staff and the continued support of Olympic Medical Center’s board of commissioners and leadership to the continued success of the home health program.

“Our high-performing Home Health program is a critical component of the local health care delivery system,” Ralph Parker, chief nursing officer at Olympic Medical Center, said

HomeCare Elite agencies are determined by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, best practices implementation, patient experience, quality improvement and consistency and financial health. In order to be considered, an agency must be Medicare-certified and have data for at least three outcomes in Home Health Compare.

Out of 8,818 agencies considered, 2,207 are recognized on the 2019 HomeCare Elite winners list overall.
