The Olympic Peninsula Chapter of Club Miata Northwest kept their tradition zooming on Dec. 12, donating funds and food to the Sequim Food Bank for the fourth consecutive year.

Club members drive to the food bank, 144 W. Alder St., each December after their annual Christmas dinner (this year at Paradise Restaurant) to make donations.

The donations come close each year to the food bank’s Christmas basket delivery times.

This year, volunteers and staff hand out turkey and all the fixings including a pumpkin pie from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Dec. 20-21, and noon-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23.

Volunteers from the Girl Scouts, Sequim’s Rotary clubs, Sequim Seventh-day Adventist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church stuffed the bags on Dec. 17.

For more information, and/or to donate, call 360-683-1205 or 360-461-6038 or visit www.sequimfoodbank.org.

The Olympic Peninsula Chapter of Club Miata Northwest meets next at noon, Jan. 9 at Sequim’s Baja Cantina, 531 W. Washington St. For more information, call club president Mike Witkin at 360-457-1082.
