Soroptimist International of Sequim announced last week the group’s Youth Community Award was given to Jonell Hill, who volunteers with the Sequim Food Bank.

This award recognizes a young woman between ages 14-17 for her volunteer service to the community.

In addition to a certificate of appreciation, both Hill and the Sequim Food Bank receive a cash award.
