“A rollercoaster ride … About the resiliency of women … A nod to the women who settled this area and braved the wilderness and made a life out of here.” That’s how some of the cast and crew describe Olympic Theatre Arts’ upcoming “Quilters” by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek.

The musical play running Feb. 21- March 8 focuses on seven women traveling the American frontier through several short blocks highlighting everyday life with the highs and lows for pioneer women.

Richard Stephens directs shows that run 7:30 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays at the theatre, 414 N. Sequim Ave. A Pay-What-You-Will show begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.

Tickets cost $24, $22 for OTA members and $15 for students with ID. Advance seats are available online at www.Olympic TheatreArts.org, by calling 360-683-7326 or by visiting the box office from 1-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
