The Cat in the Hat, the Grinch, the Princess in Black, Harry Potter and hundreds of Sequim students made appearances on Read Across America Day on Monday.

Helen Haller and Greywolf Elementary teachers and students opened their doors and books to Sequim High School and Sequim Middle School students for 30 minutes of reading on March 2.

Sequim schools partnered once again for the National Education Association’s annual event to celebrate the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss.
