Sequim Police are investigating a missing part of a stone bench from the Pioneer Memorial Park, 387 E. Washington St., built by Ian Thill for his Eagle Scout project in 2019.

Members of the Sequim Prairie Garden Club said they noticed the heavy stone missing on May 22 and reported it to Sequim Police on Memorial Day. Sgt. Mike Hill with Sequim Police Department confirmed the theft is under investigation.
