With help from family, friends and complete strangers, Wynn Hannam helped her 3-year-old Nora celebrate her birthday in the age of COVID-19.

Wynn asked the community on social media to drive by their home on West Spruce Street and wave and honk on June 20.

“We have a big family and needed to do something to get her excited and have everyone come together in some way,” she said.

Nora, along with her mom, dad Jared and 5-year-old sister Ellie, waved to several cars and were surprised by the large number of people driving by — including people they didn’t know giving Nora presents.
