Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC) invites the community to a virtual online Remembrance Ceremony to honor and memorialize the loss of loved ones, set for 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.
Email to office@vhocc.org by Thursday, Feb. 25, to receive the Zoom link.
The ceremony will include candle lighting, music, an invocation and a group address. Families, community members, past and present employees, and volunteers are encouraged to attend.
“Commemorating is part of the grieving process and remembrance ceremonies allow those who have experienced loss to come together and share memories of their loved one,” VHOCC representatives said.
Participants do not need an affiliation with hospice to participate. VHOCC invites every participant to have a candle ready to safely light or a battery-operated candle to honor their loved one.
Founded in 1978, Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County’s mission is “to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their families, with free around-the-clock registered nursing availability and trained volunteers.” Learn more at vhocc.org, by calling 360-452-1511 or visiting VHOCC on Facebook.
