Youths can land trout at Sequim park pond

Puget Sound Anglers North Olympic Peninsula Chapter in conjunction with the WDFW Hurd Creek Fish Hatchery are planting the the pond just north of Carrie Blake Community Park with trout for fall fishing opportunities.

Youths 14 and younger can fish free daily, and retain two trout per day.

The hatchery planted about 300 fish in late October, members of the Puget Sound Anglers-North Olympic peninsula Club noted.
