Missing their top singles player, Sequim’s Wolves were unable to keep pace with a deep North Kitsap squad last week, falling 6-1 on April 14.

The Wolves (3-3) got a win in No. 1 doubles play as Malory Morey and Jordan Hegtvedt topped NK’s Amber Amos and Kate Ryan, 6-3, 6-2.

The Vikings swept the remaining doubles matches and all three singles matches, however, with top Sequim singles player Kendall Hastings unavailable.

Sequim won the first match-up of the season, a 4-3 decision on March 21 in Poulsbo.

Sequim’s April 13 match at Bremerton was rained out.

Results of an April 18 match at North Mason were not available at press time.

Coming up

Sequim hosts Kingston on April 20. The Wolves are at Olympic on April 25 before finishing the regular season with an April 26 home match against rival Port Angeles.
