Sequim’s Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road, offers the first “walk about” of the 2022 season from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2.
This walk will feature all the gardens, as they are finally waking up into spring, garden caretakers note. Meet in the Wood Pavilion for the tour.
“It’s been a long and rainy winter/spring season and Woodcock Demonstration Gardens is now in full production with Master Gardeners working to bring about vegetables, flowers, and lots of creativity in design,” they said.
The Clallam County Master Gardener Foundation owns and maintains the gardens on 2.74 acres just north of Sequim. Organizers are putting together a walking tour guide handout so the community can browse through at their own convenience to enjoy and learn. New additions include a dye garden, mushroom garden and a greenhouse.
