Paradise Restaurant closes this weekend for retirement

Owners of Paradise Restaurant, 703 N. Sequim Ave., plan to retire and close the business after 35-years in operation with their last day set for Saturday, Nov. 23. It’s open 4-9 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. To reach the restaurant, call 360-683-1977.

Chipotle to open in Port Angeles

Company representatives said Monday, Nov. 18 that Chipotle Mexican Grill opens today, Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 2021 E First St. in Port Angeles. It’ll open 10:45 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.

The new location is next to the standalone Starbucks and fills the spot originally slated for a MOD Pizza.

City seeks non-profits for Sunshine Fest

The City of Sequim is now accepting applications from non-profit organizations to participate in the Sunshine Market at the 2025 Sequim Sunshine Festival. The Market will be held on Saturday, March 8 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. in the Guy Cole Event Center at Carrie Blake Community Park, 202 North Blake Avenue.

Tables and chairs will be provided in the Sunshine Market or outside the market, for two-hour or four-hour periods throughout the day. Participation is free, but the organizations must provide a free, family-friendly activity.

Applications are due by Friday, Dec. 13, and must be submitted online at https://form.jotform.com/243127325690051. All applications will be juried by the Sequim Sunshine Festival Committee. Organizations will be notified in mid-January regarding their participation.
