Dear Bertha,

Normally, I view your political comments as the ravings of a lunatic. (Last) week’s column however may be your best ever. You recognize the connection between paying taxes, our country’s out of control debt, and the entirely necessary cuts needed to save not only our programs but our nation itself. You are a voice of reason. Thanks for that.
