Women’s conference
The Olympic Peninsula Women’s Fellowship (OPWF) hosts its ninth-annual Inspirational Weekend on March 13-14 at Sequim Community Church, 950 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.

Vivian “Viv” Mabuni will be the guest speaker with the theme “Open hands, willing hearts” focusing on Proverbs 3: 5-6 and the idea of discovering joy by saying “yes” to God. Mabuni is a national speaker, author, Bible teacher, and podcast co-host of “God Hears Her.”
Joi Haley and the worship team from Rolling Hills Church in Tualatin, Oregon will lead music through the event.
OPWF is a non-denominational evangelical organization and 501(c)3 nonprofit that consists of women from several “Bible-believing churches in the Olympic Peninsula,” according to its website.
AI topic at OUUF
Emily Beals will speak on the topic “AI Through a Unitarian Universalist Lens” at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 8 at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Rd.
This message will focus on the reality of Artificial Intelligence in our lives — a look at the bright and the dark sides and a contemplation of the question: what will our future be like? A 30-minute panel discussion with opportunity for questions and conversation will follow the service.
Beals holds a Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School and a Master in Education.
