Boys & Girls Club’s golf tourney set for May 10

The 22nd Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start on Friday, May 10, at The Cedars at Dungeness golf course, 1965 Woodcock Road, Sequim.
Format is four-person scramble.
Cost is $100 per golfer and includes greens fee, cart, practice range, memorabilia, lunch, tee favors and door prize ticket. Prizes include: ace hole No. 2 for $15,000; split a $15,000 cash prize for acing hole No. 4; earn a set of Diablo clubs for a hole-in-one on No. 17; win a Sharp LCD flatscreen television for an ace on No. 11; or win two round-trip airplane tickets (domestic) for an ace on No. 8.
Hole-in-one prizes are provided by First Federal.
Golfers also can win a door prize, putt for wine and a split-the-pot prize.

Proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula.
Nearly 1,500 young people between the ages of 5-18 use the Sequim and Port Angeles clubs each year.
7 Cedars Casino sponsors the tourney. Gold sponsors are Ameriprise Financial and Sound Community Bank. Olympic Ambulance provides the lunch.
