Vance Willis, left, and Sam Mitchell, of Sequim Boy Scout Troop 1103, post a memorial flag along Washington Street, a service the troop performs on six patriotic holidays. Troop 1103 is holding its annual sponsorship drive for the displays along Washington Street. Each $50 sponsorship is for one flag displayed on six holidays. Sponsorships can be for a business, an individual or as a memorial and each comes with a placard displayed with the flag. All donations are fully tax-deductible. Donations support the Scouts’ annual summer camp and also help pay for equipment. For more information or to sponsor a flag, call Janell Heintz at 683-4921.
