Suspect sentenced in OPNET case

Lawrence R. "Russ" Moorman, 49, of Sequim, was sentenced on March 26 to 24 months probation as a result of a guilty plea to three counts of delivery of methamphetamine. Moorman pleaded guilty to delivering methamphetamine to OPNET in March and April of 2012. On March 29, 2012, Moorman delivered about three grams of methamphetamine for $200. Then on April 12, 2012, Moorman delivered about 25 grams for $970. Finally on April 19, 2012, Moorman delivered about 30 grams, (just over one ounce) for $1,100. All of the deliveries occurred in and near Port Angeles.
