Sequim’s Sarah Shea helps locals lose the winter blues this weekend with some hot jazz and cool sounds.
Shea takes the mic for a night of songs from the “Great American Song Book” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in the Gathering Hall of Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave.
Accompanying Shea are some of the best musicians on the Olympic Peninsula with Al Harris playing piano, Craig Buhler on the saxophone and clarinet, Ted Enderle on bass, and Tom Svornich on drums. Romantic songs, one of Shea’s specialties, are expected to be part of the evening.
Tickets cost $15 at the door; OTA offers advanced tickets at the box office from 1-5 p.m., Wednesday-Friday. A full bar and snacks are available through OTA. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
