OTA goes to the galaxy with ‘Silent Sky’ opening Friday

Ginny Holladay Jessee looks to the stars with Olympic Theatre Arts’ “Silent Sky” opening Nov. 8. She stars as real life astronomer Henrietta Leavitt at Harvard College Observatory working with fellow female “computers” in the early 1900s under Matt Forrest’s astronomer apprentice Peter Shaw to help discover new stars and explore the galaxy.
Director Josh Sutcliffe leads the show for three weeks at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 17, 24. A Pay-What-You-Will show begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, Sundays feature a “Talkback” with cast and crew after the show.
