The North Olympic Library System hosts four virtual Book Discussion Group meetings each month. All are welcome; join every month or just drop in.
Register through nols.org/book-discussion-groups or call or visit the library for assistance to get the Zoom meeting information. Paperback copies of the titles will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussions at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., or the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., on a first-come, first-served basis.
Copies in other formats, such as large print, book on CD and eBook, may also be available to request through the NOLS catalog at nols.org.
The April 2022 Book Discussion schedule includes:
• 2nd Saturday Book Discussion Group — “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer, 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9 (paperback copies available at Sequim Library)
• 2nd Tuesday Book Discussion Group — “The Plague of Doves” by Louise Erdrich, 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12 (paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library)
• Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group — “Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights” by Salman Rushdie, 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 (paperback copies available at Sequim Library)
• Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group — “Vesper Flights” by Helen Macdonald, 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 (paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library)
