Milestone: Caldwells celebrate six decades of marriage

Bob and Elaine Caldwell are celebrating 60 years of marriage this month.

They agree that the last 30 were the best part after retiring to Sequim where they built their forever home and became members of a great, growing, changing community.

“We have been so blessed to have such great neighbors, friends, family, and opportunities to be a part of so many non-profit organizations — even starting some new ones,” Bob said.

“Nothing was more fun and challenging then helping Bob save farmland — lots of strawberry shortcake sales — and renovating that old church into a community theater,” Elaine says.”

Family members note: “They attribute it all to the God’s grace and give Him all glory,”
