Ace Hardware opens in Carlsborg

To commemorate the opening of Sequim Ace Hardware, staff and Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce representatives held joint ribbon cutting and sign sawing ceremonies.

Store manager Bill McClansburgh cut the chamber’s ribbon and sawed an “Ace Hardware” sign on Aug. 31 to commemorate the new store at 232 Valley Center Place in Carlsborg.

The event featured coffee, pastries, raffles, and discounts.

The hardware store inside the former Sears store offers paint, electrical, plumbing, power tools, barbecues, and more.

Broadway Group of Portland, Ore., owns the store, and it’s open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday. For more information, click here.
