Store joins anti-hunger campaign

The Sequim Grocery Outlet, 1045 W. Washington St., continues its “Independence from Hunger” campaign through July. Purchase specially marked items needed by the Sequim and Port Angeles food banks for the collection bin at the front of the store or make a cash donation to the food banks at check-out.

The Quarry hosts patio event

The Quarry celebrates the remodel of its new location at 1020 E. Front St., Port Angeles, with a patio sale and event Friday-Saturday, July 27-28. Meet vendors who can answer questions about hardscape materials, see the tile and stone showroom, and enter for door prizes. The Quarry carries natural and cultured stone, wall block, hardscape material and ceramic tile. Wine barrels, song at Wind Rose

Wind Rose Cellars, 155 W. Cedar St., Sequim, hosts Mt. Townsend Creamery 2-5 p.m. Saturday, July 28, with cheese samples paired with wines. The tasting fee is $5. Flea market seeks vendors

The Mount Pleasant Grange invites vendors for its Community Flea Market and Yard Sale, to be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Mount Pleasant Community Hall, 2432 Mount Pleasant Road. Olympic Restaurant Supply fetes summer

Olympic Restaurant Equipment, 51 Dryke Road, Sequim, offers raffles, snacks and refreshments at its annual summer event from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, July 27, and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, July 28. Friday’s events include pet adoption with the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society (10 a.m.-1 p.m.), with knife and scissor sharpening and product demonstrations both days.
