ILG aids innovation

  • Camaraderie Cellars of Port Angeles has had its new compound wine barrel bung (stopper) adopted by the world’s largest barrel manufacturer, Seguin Moreau, as a promotion for all of Europe. It also is used by American wineries, including Walla Walla and Napa Valley.

  • U.S. Patent 8,054,160 has been issued to area businessman Anthony Corrado for a system extending the battery life of multi-modal RFID tags used in inventory control and person-tracking systems.

  • The U.S. Patent Office issued U.S. Patent 8,055,692 to Dr. Bruce L. Horn for a software application to show the changing path of a search.

  • The U.S. Patent Office has issued U.S. Patent 8,039,289 to TP Solar Inc. on an energy-efficient solar cell wafer transport that reduces solar cell processing energy requirements. ILG assisted TP Solar Inc. with several U.S. and foreign patents on the system.
