Sound Community Bank is able to offer quarterly donations to OVCF through a co-branded credit card called The Platinum Community MasterCard.

One percent of all purchases made with the card are gifted to the foundation by Sound Community Bank.

The mission of OVCF is to improve communities by connecting people who care to causes that matter. OVCF grants funds to local nonprofits that work in arts and culture, education and youth, environment and conservation, health and human services, and animal welfare.

The foundation also supports a mural fund, which preserves the Lehman murals. The foundation sustains over 40 local organizations through more than 115 grant awards.

Laurie Stewart, president and CEO of Sound Community Bank and a Sequim native, said, “The partnership between the Olympic View Community Foundation and Sound Community Bank is an enduring partnership of remarkable community support. It pleases me that we’re able to support a nonprofit that in turn supports the North Olympic Peninsula communities.”

Sound Community Bank provides personal and business banking services in communities across the greater Puget Sound region. The Seattle-based company operates banking offices in King, Pierce, Snohomish, Jefferson and Clallam counties and on the web at www.soundcb.com.
