Money and politics

Everyone complains that there is too much money in our politics and elections these days … on both sides. If you would like to see this changed, there IS something you can do about it right now … Sign the petition to get Initiative 1329 on next November's ballot.

Signature gatherers are unpaid volunteers who just want to see us, as citizens, take back our election process and change this unfair system. We believe the election process should be more of a level playing field with individual persons having rights and with limits on the amount of money flowing into the process. No person or artificial group should have undue influence over our politics and our government. A billionaire’s vote should be the same as yours and mine.

Some say, “Nothing will ever change” or “You will never get this done.” But we say, “We will never see it changed unless we try.” So please consider signing and watch for the volunteers, many in the yellow ball caps. We will be out there in the next few months trying our best to reclaim our democracy. We appreciate your support.
