Backyard Birding

“Home as Habitat,” part of Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society’s Backyard Birding series, will be presented by Steve Koehler on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Dungeness River Nature Center, 1943 W. Hendrickson Road.

Suggested donation is $5.

Learn how to make your yard a welcoming habitat that will draw a variety of birds all winter long. In many cases, it may not necessary to add native plants, but instead simply to encourage what is already there.
